Wave 1049 is an independently owned, local Internet radio station, formerly known as Wave 104.9, which served, primarily, the Ridgeland / Bluffton / Beaufort / Hilton Head area in South Carolina, with a few hardy fans in the Coastal Empire.Wave is an Adult Alternative station, so it sounds smart, like alternative radio stations did back in the 90s, though we're not stuck in the 90s. We play a lot of new music, as well as favorites from as far back as the 70s.
