Popularly known as “The Nation’s Station” RSL97 is mandated to provide public service broadcasting, although earning its keep from advertising. In many ways a pioneer in local broadcasting, RSL97 has provided the foundation for much of what obtains in local broadcast circles. Many of the programmes and the seasoned crop of local broadcasters across the media landscape had their beginnings at RSL97.RSL97′s programming features a wide range of offerings in culture, health, agriculture, news and current affairs, sports, music and public information. We continue to lead all stations in news, sports, religious, cultural and Kwéyòl language programming and local music output.
