Pure 907 is the first commercial radio station to be granted a licence to operate in the Seychelles. Pure907 is a culmination of hard work by a team of dedicated people implementing the idea of a local hotelier who practices corporate citizenship. As the concept of privately-owned radio is fairly new in Seychelles, there were many challenges, sometimes unnecessary hurdles, when Pure 907 was being set up. Pure 907 broadcast 24hrs a day, seven days a week. The station has adopted a format that aims at a general audience. Our team of journalists, radio producers and presenters create a variety of programmes to suit almost every taste. Pure 907 strives to have balanced news reports as far as possible. We engage our audience through interactive programmes, which in turn create opportunities for targeted advertising. Our internet streams on www.purefm.sc allow the radio to reach audiences beyond the shores of Seychelles. Pure 907 also has programmes that are tailored for the Seychelles Diaspora, as well as visitors who would wish to remain connected to the islands. Pure 907 aims for a quality radio service that is sensitive to the needs and interest of our audience, promotes fairness, good taste and decency, has respect for human dignity and preserves our cultural identity. Once you get hooked, you won't let go.
