Armenian Internet society received a grant from International Internet Society for creating Internet Radio (IR) for people with vision impairments in Armenia and throughout the world. It will be located in the Culture House of Union of Blinds of Armenia. After a year it will be handed over to the Culture House. Implementation of the grant commenced on January 1st, 2016. According to the plan, a technical basis is to be created: optical channel for internet, computers, creation and refurbishing of a recording studion, etc. Also, a series of radio reportages will be prepared about famous blinds, programs for kids, paralympic sport, legal advice, etc
